Yes! get a redeemer if you can. They just buffed the ass kicking on it. well only if you like it... it's expensive. I was asking the org if a redeemer was a good choice for boarding but no one replied.

Oh nice. make sure you take it when we go on a long hunting expedition. Fill it up with 6,000 freight units of confiscated goodies!

I am really hoping that hiring npc is fairly cheap. That way you can go on your massive ship and makes some money buying and selling on those days that not many of us are online to help out. It would suck to have a full crew and you spend hours flying using fuel and having bad luck in the trading business and still having to pay all the npc.

what are you saying rex? you have friends that will be dedicated merchants and you will hire them to sell our stolen stuff to areas where we will more than likely not be allowed to go to?

Merchantman! What a glorious ship. And we'll certainly need a way to move all the liberated goods.

For as much as we're going to take off other merchants, I don't think it will be long before we amass a large fleet of ships in various roles.

Hey Guys, I was just comparing stats for the Caterpillar vs the 890 Jump vs the Merchantman. For our purposes, this ship is awesome IMHO. The options for mounting weapons is more diverse, it has a smaller signature, and can carry twice the freight an 890 Jump can. Not to mention it also has a modular design. In terms of a "command" ship, this seems to fit the bill.

Yes, the caterpillar is better than the other ships for our role. I wonder how many of us have one. I just compared them too and for the size, it's far superior than the others. But I am guessing that even if we have a caterpillar with us, the boss will on occasion want to travel in the biggest ship he can get ahold of to show our might. If we are hunting, we can do the Caterpillar and escorts thing. If we are traversing the PU, then we take our most intimidating ships.

In case you're still keeping track, I have an Aurora LN and a Mustang Omega. Once the PU starts I will be attempting to hijack a few choice beauties if the opportunity arises.
