I bought a PC and it came with this slot on top. Anyone knows what plugs into this? Looks like a SATA port on left, and a SATA POWER port on the right like for a hard drive. |

I searched SATA port online and you are right. the bad thing is, I did not understand what it is for. I looked in different sites and the description just confused me. As far as I know, it's probably not something I really need. I don't know much about computers. This is probably something a more computer knowledgeable person will use. thanx again for the info. |

Handy way to load/link hard drive you don't plan on opening case for to install if its not a portable drive.

so whats yalls opinion on the "LTI wars" LTI wars? are people still complaining about that? I never had a problem with it. Early backers deserved to have it on their ships. I always wanted at least one ship with it though. And I decided to get one a few months ago. So I guess if someone really wants it, then they should buy a ship with it. If not, then they should stop crying about it. |

If not, then they should stop crying about it. ya the Starfarer Gemini came out with LTI so the OB and VB went in a rage, ben asked how we would like to handle LTI and most of the backers said to give it to everyone that backs before beta makeing the OB and VB backers even more pissed. so the Gen page is a wasteland of LTI posts right now and will go down in history as the first LTI war the 2nd will be after they say what there going to do about it. i cant wait untill we can sit at a bar on tera and be like old vets telling war storys to the new players about how the game used to be |

I see. I do remember thinking it was not fair when I saw the Gemini come out with LTI. It's just a variant of the starfarer. And starfarer is no longer a concept sale. Yea... now I see the issue. It is messed up. I would be pissed off too. I don't know how they are going to fix this. If they give LTI to everyone before beta, LTI will be less spectacular than it is now. This is really a tough one... i'll go check out the forums right now. |
