Hey scumbags and scoundrels! So This popped up on PC Gamer this morning: www.pcgamer.com/2014/04/28/saiteks-x-55-rhino-flightstick-is-a-lovely-chunky-thing/Looks awesome! I'd love a joystick like that for this game. It also got me thinking... I know nothing about joysticks! What experience do any of you have with PC Joysticks? Will you guys even use one for the game or try keyboard/controller? The article also says PC Gamer is getting ready for an all out article on multiple joysticks comparing them. Could be worth a read in preparation to this game. So let me know! Or not... your loss. |

I have the X52. It's awesome. I don't think the X55 is for sale yet, plus I like the look of the X52 way more. Has tons of modes and comes with a disc for installing the Programming Software. You can control what each button does as well as the color of a lot of the buttons.

game pad seems broken... I cant hit my target. even after they said they fixed it. its taking me about 20 minutes to kill one vanduul on the first wave without using missiles! could not pass first wave after one hour and used missiles. then on wave 2 I just quit after 10 minutes of missing. I could get to wave 11 before. The stick is super sensitive. I lowered the sensitivity completely and it's the same thing.

I'm loving AC right now, but balancing the controls between kb/m and HOTAS needs a lot of work I hear. Hell, even with the mouse it's tough to lock and hit targets in a 300i because the guns are fixed based on the orientation of your ship. I hear the x55 is nice, but I'm going to wait a bit before picking one up.

can't wait to afford an arena commander pass to play again. I use a game pad. it used to be crappy, but it appears they fixed it.

I use Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X, a cheapy hotas set up but works well for me, jumping to R.A.T.5 mouse for fine targeting when on guns sometimes, I also have an old Logitech Wingman rumble pc gamepad I use sometimes for races.
