I keep losing during wave 15. I'm usually playing by myself that wave and eventually get chewed up. Playing with 1 or 2 players. Usually one drops out after several rounds and the other guy that sticks around doesn't make it till the end. Been using a Gladiator red build (bulldogs and badgers), I have the best luck with them.

Got up to wave 18 on my cake day today but only half way through wave, still happy. was playing with two other players Kickass and somebody that started with an M. They died at beginning of wave 16 or end of 15. They had lost both respawns too early. You really need them saved for levels 15-18. So I finished wave 16 by my self and all of wave 17, and some of 18. I was in the zone. I think another problem they had was wasting two many rockets on lower levels. I like to thin out the wave charging front shield full and rapidly switching targets launching a few rockets get 3 maybe 4 ship to thin out the heard then chasing with guns to save rockets switching shield to all back so I don't get hit while pursuing. Spam countermeasures when your locked till the ones they launch at you are cleared, switch countermeasure type at same time. And with the elite fighters making sure you maneuver around meteors. If team mates are targeting a ship, target one on tail, if more then one on tail target choose the one firing with guns to disrupt their fire and direction.

I just beat level 18 with Toneless, Ender Jr., and Endorsement M. I would have had one death but lost control of ship with no damage to ship, engines kind of just died so as I slowly drifted to the board limit and my death I spammed rockets at enemies and yanked my controls like a crazy man. That crap has happened to me before in game, sucks. Hope they fix that. It happened late in game so wasn't worried. Last level (18) is all the unique (elite/named) fighters in one wave. SO save your rockets! Was a very competitive fast match had to hurry up and kill things before they were dead. Match lasted little more than half as long as my other level 18 run and my score was little more than half the other run as well, most I ever scored was well over 50k but was playing by myself most of match.
